Licensed Addiction Counselor
We are hiring a Licensed Addiction Counselor!
The Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) evaluates residents for chemical dependency history and uses this information to document signs; symptoms; physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual implications; and treatment recommendations. The LAC may be asked to speak with other providers and insurance companies to share their observations and recommendations; as well as re-evaluate residents to determine progress at each level of care. • The LAC develops a plan of treatment; shares the recommendations with members of a multi-disciplinary team for feedback; implements feedback and then implements the treatment plan within the established time frame. The LAC monitors the resident’s adherence to the plan and determines if short term goals are being met. • The LAC provides group therapy and CD education based on accomplishment of objectives identified in treatment plan. This may include individual and family therapy if ordered. • The LAC is responsible for coordinating care with referral sources and other providers, as well as treatment and discharge planning. Thorough documentation of assessments, evaluations, therapy notes, contacts made must be made accurately and timely. • The LAC has a professional duty to warn in cases of child and vulnerable adult protection. • Will be responsible for staff scheduling, assisting with problem resolution and training current and new counselors. • In some cases, the LAC may provide clinical supervision to students working towards licensure.

Licensed Social Worker
As a Licensed Social Worker, this position will be responsible for all aspects case management, implementation of all programming and coordination of case planning with custodians, referring agents, and parents. Prairie Learning Center is a Residential Childcare Facility located south of Raleigh ND, it is a high quality, child driven facility, working with boys ages 12-18 who are dealing with many issues of conduct, drug & alcohol, family, mental health, and school. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and who has the passion to make a difference for kids at-risk and provide the inspiration to motivate change. Qualifications required - must be a Licensed Social Worker, be 21 years of age, and have a valid driver's license. Head Cook and Cook
The Prairie Learning Center of Raleigh, ND is a Residential Child Care Facility and Education Center located south of Raleigh, ND. We strive to empower youth and their families towards growth through the treatment programs we offer! We believe that walking and talking with youth and building relationships is an essential part of the program.
We are looking for a Head Cook and possibly a second cook, aged 21 or older, who are comfortable working with youth and want to make a difference in their lives! Primary function of this role is to cook, supervise & schedule the kitchen staff, prepare menus for three meals a day and be in compliance with the School lunch program, order necessary food and stock items. You would also be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and ensuring your staff are keeping it up the necessary standards. Additionally, you must be willing to supervise and show the kids how to perform kitchen duties that are part of their work duties.

This position will require weekend shift every third weekend or fourth if we find another cook, as well. The hours that need to be covered between all workers are from 6:30-6:00 M-F, and 9:30-6:00 S/S.

We are looking for Resident Specialists, ages 21 or older, who are comfortable working with youth and want to make a difference in their lives! Primary function of this role is to provide care, instruction, and supervision to our youth through activities, work crews. Provide around the clock supervision, must relate constructively to difficult youth, provide care and attention to all those needs of health, nutrition and safety which are present. They provide vocational life skills training through our normal daily living, re-enforcing life skills through chores, hygiene, kitchen duty, work crews, etc.
